This Palaka Kinchaku is part of a traditional Japanese drawstring bag ensemble. Its strong cotton palaka and cotton twill construction is cut and sewn with expert craftsmanship in Honolulu, Hawaii. It's the perfect combination of traditional Japanese style and modern Hawaiian construction.
"Palaka" is fabric used for those who worked in the plantations during the early 19th century in Hawaii. In 1930's Palaka shirts with blue jeans became popular Hawaiian style loved by the locals.
